Born on January 14th, 1953 to Mary Alice Hubbard and Louie Calvin Hubbard in Decatur, Alabama.
Edward (Eddie) loved walking his loyal dog, Ollie, by the river and letting him run freely. He loved cheering on the Crimson Tide and loved piddling around. A true caretaker, Eddie cherished his family and lived with a strong love for God. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Edward is survived by his wife Evelyn Eubanks Hubbard, son Phillip Lee Hubbard (Chastity), daughter Beth Rose Hubbard, 6 brothers Calvin Hubbard, Kent Hubbard, Roger Hubbard, Jack Nix, Jay Hood. 2 sisters, Susan Hood Kent and Suzanne Nabors, 4 grandchildren Baile, Gavin, Eli, Payson (Taylor, Kelsey, Kit, and Danielle) and preceded in death by his mother and father, brother George Stumbo and sister Cathy Gross.
A celebration of life will be held at his granddaughters (Baile and Taylor) house on Saturday, November the 22nd at 12:30.
