Graveside Service for Evelyn Morris Pigg Rowe, 90, of Decatur will be Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Decatur, with Reverend Matt Nail officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm.
Mrs. Rowe, who died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Summerford Nursing Home was born March 10, 1926 in Lacy Springs, AL. to Theophilus Larimore Morris and Viola Jackson Morris.
Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by her husbands, Willard Pigg and Howard Rowe; her brothers, James Morris, Charlie Morris and Harold Morris.
She is survived by her children, Doris Syers (Tom) and Pam Hogan, both of Decatur, Faye Holt (Don) of Scottsboro and Mike Pigg (Amy) of Auburn; her brothers, Jack Morris, Thomas Morris (Edna), Earl Morris (Olga) and Howard Morris (Sara) all of Decatur and her sister, Grace Stubbs (Harold) of Huntsville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorials be made to Hospice of the Valley or the Alzheimer’s Association
