Faye Berry Phillips

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Phillips, who died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Parkway Medical Center, was born July 12, 1923 in Stevenson to Charles Laymon Berry and Bertha Lou Manning Berry. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She served 28 years as City Clerk of Trinity.

Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William Clarence Phillips; son, Charles Kenneth Phillips; brother, Charles Laymon Berry; and sister, Mildred Eugenia Johnson.

She is survived by her son, William Ray Phillips (June); daughter Kathy Phillips Owens (Barrey); daughter-in-law, Penny Phillips Glover (Sam); brother, Sanford Wilson Berry of Kansas; grandchildren, Sandy Phillips Johnson, Jason Todd Owens, Joseph Scott Owens, Phillip Kayne Owens, Kenneth Alan Phillips, Kimberly Phillips Parker, Charles William Phillips, and Emily Phillips Vandall; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Scott Owens, Jason Todd Owens, Phillip Kayne Owens, Kenneth Alan Phillips, Charles William Phillips, Kent Johnson, Phil Parker, and Allan Vandall.
