Funeral for Frances Williams Ross, age 89, of Decatur will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ross, who died Sunday, August 21, 2011, at her residence, was born October 14, 1921. She was a homemaker. She was a life member of The University of Kentucky Alumni Association and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. Her husband, Haskell J. Ross Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Haskell J. Ross Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Indianapolis, Ind.; one daughter, Sherry Ross Fleming; granddaughter, Lynette Fleming Lindell; two grandsons, Haskell J. Ross III and his wife, Kim, and Michael J. Ross and his wife, Elizabeth; and five great-grandsons, Haskell Ross III, Michael Ross, James Ross, Henry Ross and Ross Cobb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of Morgan County or Westminster Presbyterian Church.
