Hilliard Wayne Hodges

Funeral services for Hilliard Wayne Hodges of Decatur will be Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nicky Pressnell, Bro. Charles Dickens, and Bro. John Davis officiating. Burial will be in Dancy’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday night 6 to 8 pm at the Roselawn Chapel.

Mr. Hodges died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 23, 1940 to William C. and Mary Aileen Hobbs Hodges. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James C. (Sonnie) Hodges, and his sister, Sara Dean Walsh. He is survived by his wife, Laura Fuller Hodges, two daughters, Tracie Hodges and Angela Wigington (Mark), a son, Brandon Hodges (Anna), four grandchildren, Ben Wigington, Holly Wigington, Brady Hodges, and Mason Hodges, as well as a host of friends and loved ones. Mr. Hodges was a longtime member of Dancy’s Chapel Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hodges, Mark Wigington, Ben Wigington, Brady Hodges, Mason Hodges, Bill Keeton, and Kenneth Proctor. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Gilchrist, Woody Woodard, Ricky Brenner, L.V. Fleming, Ardmore High School Class of 1959, and Owens Quick Mart “Coffee Club.” Singing will be provided by members of Dancy’s Chapel Church of Christ.
