Irvin Ross Strickland, 76, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on December 18, 2018. His visitation will be held on Saturday December 22nd from 12 pm until 2 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow in the chapel. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Bro. Ralph Henderson is officiating.
Mr. Strickland is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Frank and Nettie Lou Strickland; his wife, Joyce C. Strickland; brother, Joseph Strickland; sisters, Kate Pressley, Evelyn Johnson, Alma Robinson, and Mary Lou Motes.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Strickland; and son, Steve Strickland; one grandson, Ben Strickland; brothers, James Ray Strickland and Skip Strickland, as well as various loving sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a graduate of the University of Alabama, and spent his life as a CPA. He loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
