He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold "Wayne" Johnson and Jacquline Jones Johnson, and his brother, Michael Wayne Johnson.
Jack was born and raised in downtown Trinity. We never grew tired of the endless stories and the memories of his childhood, growing up in this small town with his cousins and friends. From farming as a young man and a couple of other jobs, his passion was to be a truck driver, to help make a difference and deliver when others couldn't. He made that his career.
To say Jack loved his girls was an understatement. From hair bows, fingernail polish or getting the full spa treatment, the girls knew their daddy enjoyed every moment. From Barbie cars, to learning to ride a bike, fishing, softball and anything Auburn, it all put a smile on his face. Every one of our girls shared their own special moments and bond with their daddy and the stories still keep us laughing and celebrating him for hours. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and man. He loved his grandbabies more than anything. Jack never met a stranger, no matter where we were, he was going to treat someone with either a blessing, a joke or his knack of sarcasm, whichever he thought was needed. He touched the lives of so many and was a blessing to each and every one.
