Missing the good times we had together over the years, we may have not lived close but we were close. We always had all our birthday party's mostly at his house because of his work on call at ambulance service. Always thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. We cooked a lot and had fun together. All our kids loved each other. I really miss those times, I moved to Tenn and didn't get to visit that much but we stayed in contact all time. I love you Teresa very much and my heart is 💔 because I cant be there. Just know Jimmy, Christie. and grandsons are in my thoughts and prayers always. Love always. Your sis Betty Jo

My uncle James you will be missed by many, and you are loved by everyone, we all have so many good memories that we can carry with us along the way until we meet again with our heavenly Father, I remember as a kid we would all be over y'all house playing out in the yard jumping over the bushes, I use to hide in the floorboard of grandpa car to go with them to the store cause I wanted to be with my grandma, I loved her so much, I would cry if she went in the bathroom without me lol, We have so many memories of our old house on Moulton heights road where we all lived. My mama and Aunt Becker has told us kids alot of good stories y'all had growing up, I know you loved your family so much, and I just want to say I'm so thankful that you and Aunt Teresa took care of grandpa Atkins, We will all miss you, Go rest high on that mountain, you are in the loving arms of Jesus.
Love Always Angie❤️❤️❤️

To the Family of James Atkins...

We are so thankful to have worked with you (sharing many laughs together on old 3 south).

The thing that stuck out the most was the loving exchange that I saw when Ms Teresa would come and kiss you before going home, and I can't forget the Radio Program "Coast to Coast", some interesting topics ....some were even scary! Those were the days!

Thank you for sharing your family with us...Ms Teresa, Christy, and those Grandboys!

We will miss you and see you again....my friend ❤

Love in Christ,
