

A Celebration of life service for James Allen (Tiny) Fuller, of Somerville, who passed away on October 16th, 2015, at the age of 73, will be held on October 19th, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery following the service. Mr. Fuller was born to James Harold Fuller and Eula Mae Fuller Phillips on December 12th, 1941, in Haleyville, Alabama. James retired from the chemical lab at Solutia in 1999. Mr. Fuller coached junior bowlers from the late 1970’s to the mid 1980’s, and coached Minor A Baseball Giants during the early 1980’s. Mr. Fuller enjoyed his time spent at the Volunteer Center, where he transported the elderly to doctor’s appointments. He also served in the U.S. Army from June, 1963 to August, 1966. He was deployed to Chitose, Japan where he worked in Army Intelligence translating Japanese Morse Code. Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Ralph Phillips; and his sister, Mae Carol Fuller. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Wanda Lee Fuller; his daughter, Leslie Fuller Woods (Shannon); step-daughters Jenny Rehmer (Nate), Jackie Mauter (Michael), and Jamie Byer (Michael Lamar); brother Roger Lee Fuller (Becky); grandchildren Michael Woods and Dylan Woods; and step-grandchildren Emma, Brayden, Landon, Chloe, Abby, Jolie, Wesley, Londyn, Easton, and baby Mauter. Pallbearers for the service will be Nate Rehmer, Michael Mauter, Michael Lamar, Donovan Pence, Dylan Woods, and Michael Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be James’s cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
