James "Jim" Self, 75, of Trinity, died on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral service will be Monday, January 14, 2013, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with Michael Mason and Steve Caudle officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Self was the owner of Self Barber Shop serving Decatur for 56 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Self, of Trinity; son, Paul Self, of Moulton; daughter, Sue Winn, of Huntsville; brother, Deemer Self, of Huntsville; sister, Virginia Fowler, of Huntsville; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
