A Celebration of Life for Jane Gray Patterson, 84, of Decatur who passed away February 8, 2016 will be Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Smith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 pm til 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson was born January 6, 1932. She attended Beltline Church of Christ. Mrs. Patterson was a long distance operator with Bell South for 35 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hartwell “Pat” Patterson; Daughter, Karen Joy Patterson; son, Tony Patterson; her parents, Hubert and Ethel Gray; brother, Euel Dean Gray.
Survivors include, her daughter, Sherry Terry( Thad );four grand- children, Josh Patterson, Terri Patterson, Drew Terry and Kyle Terry; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Hastings and Brody Whisman; two brothers, James “ Shap “ Gray ( Jane ) and Kenneth Gray ( Marilyn ).
Pallbearers will be Josh Patterson, Drew Terry, Kyle Terry, Blake Terry, Clay Terry and Derrick Knoblock.
