Janet Perry Townsend, 85, of Town Creek, passed away on June 8, 2017, after a brief illness. Her memorial service will be on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Burt Anderson officiating.
She is survived by her son, Mark Townsend, daughter, Sue Worley(Bruce), and step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Worley, and Brandy Bolling(Ken).
She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Newton Townsend, and grandson, Patrick Leldon Murphree.
She was an accomplished artist and loved to paint.
