Janice Kay Hill Brown

Our loving wife and mother went to be with her saviour on Saturday May 4,2019 at her home in Courtland, AL. She accepted Christ as her saviour at a young age and was an active member of South Decatur Church of God. Her life was centered around her faith and family. She was born on February 27, 1952 in Cullman, AL. She is survived by her husband Jerry Brown of Decatur and 2 daughters Amber (Randy) Alderson of Courtland and Wendy Brown of Decatur. Also her eight grandchildren being Matthew (Jessica) Alderson, Jessica Alderson, Creighton Alderson, Abagail Alderson, Landen Alderson, Cody Brown, Kayla Brown and Kyleigh Kirby. Three great-grandchildren Alucard Thomas, Daniel Wilson and Noah Wilson. 9 brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents the late James and Estelle Hill and her sister the late Glenda Hill. Visitation will be held Thursday May 9,2019 from 11-12 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur, AL. with the service to be held immediately following. The service will be officiated by her pastor Jay Rhodes.

Graveside service and burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Eva, AL.

Our trip to south carolina was her 1st trip outside alabama ! We hung out with Walt Cooper & Chris for a couple of days. Yals dad was in the backseat of my geo metro , funny watching him unfold to get out !
