Jeffrey A. Stephenson, of Hartselle, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022. His visitation will be held on Monday, October 3 from 1-3 PM, with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to follow at 3 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Jeff is survived by his wife Sandra Lee Stephenson, his daughters Rebecca McWhirter (Dylan McWhirter), Emily Ricks (Eric Ricks), son Allen Stephenson (Chasidy Shattles), and his granddaughter Mayci Ricks, and mother Thelma Jo Stephenson (Cecil McDonald), dad Allen Stephenson, sisters Dawn Carroll (Terry Carroll), Robin Puckett (Don Puckett).
Jeff was born to Thelma Jo and Allen Stephenson on January 21 1960 in Hartselle, AL. His childhood was filled with baseball, football, and basketball. He graduated from Morgan County High School in 1978. He married his high school sweetheart Sandra on November 19, 1983. He began his engineering career at McDonald Douglas and ended his career with NASA. He had 39 years of service in the aerospace industry. He had 3 children Rebecca, Emily and Allen. He had one grandchild Mayci. He loved his friends, family dearly and fought hard through cancer, radiation, and surgery to stay with them as long as he could. He will be missed more than we can put into words.
