Funeral service for Jessica Cannon, 63, of Decatur will be today, April 28, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Martin Steelmon officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Cannon, who died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital, was born June 5, 1947, in Decatur to Clifford and Mary Parker. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Gower; and brother, Tommy Parker.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tommy Cannon; two sons, Tim Cannon and Mark Cannon, both of Decatur; one daughter, Angie Cannon Beverly (Thomas); six siblings, Stanley Parker of Hartselle, Gary Parker of Decatur, Chris Parker of Moulton, Bobby Parker of Decatur, Deborah Montgomery of Moulton and Lynn Tomlin of Athens; and four grandchildren, Alex Cannon of Auburn, Jake Beverly and Jada Beverly, both of Priceville, and Austin Partridge of Auburn.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
