Jimmy Bryant Teague

James "Jimmy" Teague, age 82, of Decatur, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Jimmy was born October 30, 1938. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Beverly Teague, daughter Cherie Teague Lea, granddaughter Amy Bartlett, two great grandsons Ethan Noble, Silas Bartlett. brother Paul Teague (Carrie) sister Carolyn James (Bob). Jimmy is preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Teague, parents Rufus and Esther Teague and one sister, and two brothers.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Man of God. He loved God and would do anything for anyone, he was a runner for many years and had his picture in the Runners World Magazine. He never liked missing church if he did you would know he was sick if he was not there. To know him was to love him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 2-3 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life to follow at 3 PM in the chapel with Orval Collis, Royce Teague and Ricky Hammond officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
