Joe W. Dunnivant, 91, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lillian Dunnivant, one sister, Ruby Adcock. Mr. Dunnivant was a lifetime member of Somerville Road Church of Christ. He worked for Alabama Farmers Coop for over 40 years. Mr. Dunnivant retired at 62 then worked for Point Mallard Golf Course.
Mr. Dunnivant is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorene C. Dunnivant; two daughters, Linda Ayers and Brenda (Al) Quinn; one son, Jeff (Maryanne) Dunnivant; one niece, Peggy (Ted) McNatt; one nephew, Billy Wayne (Sherry) Adcock; five grandchildren, Ryan Ayers, Coleman (Amy) Hill, Amanda (Matthew) Greenlee, Chris (Kristy) Dunnivant and William (Katie) Dunnivant.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 1:00pm at Somerville Road Church of Christ. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3:00pm at Roselawn Cemetery with visitation from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.
