John A. Woodruff, age 82, of Decatur passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011. Mr. Woodruff was born June 25, 1929 to Alvie John and Lula Case Woodruff in Decatur, Alabama. He was retired from Woodruff Produce Company. He served in the U.S. Air force Military Police.
The visitation will be Saturday, August 4, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Rev. Willie Jackson will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Beddingfield Woodruff; sons, Gregory Woodruff- Decatur, Alabama, Jaysen Woodruff (Pam)- Decatur, Alabama; grandsons, Braxton Woodruff and Clint Patterson; sister, Dorothy Green- Decatur, Alabama and nephew, Hal.
