Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday February 6, at Roselawn Funeral Home. His funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Dr. Keahey is preceded in death by his parents George Daniel Keahey Sr., and Katie Ford Keahey.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Keahey; sons, David Keahey, Bob Keahey, and John (Michele) Keahey; God-daughter, Shelley(Doug) Bowling, brother, Ronnie Keahey, grandchildren, Johnnie Keahey, Elizabeth Grace Keahey, Dale Keahey, River Keahey, Douglas Britt Bowling, and Ashton Brynn Bowling.
Dr. Keahey was a well known Orthodontist in Decatur for over 40 years and served his country in the Air Force. He loved being on his tractor when spending time on his farm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association by logging into alz.org and following prompts.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
