Johnny Price Moore

Visitation will be on December 11,2023 from 12-1. The celebration of life service will begin at 1 pm at Central Park Baptist Church in Decatur, AL with pastor Matt Haimes officiating.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 56 years Teresa Moore, his son Jon Moore and daughter Alison (Craig) Partain. Grandchildren Josh Runager and Sarah Runager, Alex (Chandler) Livingston, Abby (Logan) Terry, and three great grandchildren, sister Brenda (Hoyt) Miller and brother Jerry (Pat) Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Faye Moore and sister Gladys Parker.

Johnny was born in Belmont, Mississippi on October 25, 1948 to Paul and Faye Moore. Johnny and his family moved to Decatur, Alabama in 1985. He was a business owner in Decatur for many years. He retired from Bradford Health services in 2014. Johnny loved spending time with his family, working in his yard and playing golf. The highlight of his day was his daily phone calls with his granddaughter Sarah. He was a member at Central Park Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
