Died from a stroke on Jan.18, 2017, in Huntsville Hospital.
He was born to J.C. and Annie Mears March 28, 1966 in Decatur, ALA.
He is preceded in death by his father and brother Byron Mears.

Joseph will be remembered as a talented trim carpenter, and builder. Also as a trumpet player in West Morgan’s Band. He was beloved by family and many friends, and was a long time employee of Up Church Plumbing.
His home going Service will be:
Saturday: Visitation 12:30-2:30
Funeral following with Bro. Anthony Simmons officiating.
Pallbearers will be family members.
