Funeral for Josephine "Jo" Bishop, 75, of Decatur will be Friday, June 10, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bishop, who died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at her residence, was born August 15, 1935, in Limestone County to William and Idell Hatchett. She retired as an RN from Parkway Medical Center and Delphi. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie J. Bishop; and grandson, Philip Raths.
Survivors include one son, Mike Bishop; two daughters, Connie Bishop Dietz and Debbie Bishop; one brother, Chance Hatchett; one sister, Anatalie Watson Fogg; three grandchildren, Kim Eastman (Jon), Adrian Raths and Brittany Bishop; and great-grandchildren, Elijah Walters, Joseph Walters, Savannah Raths and Aiden Raths.
