Joyce Irene Lovell, 66, of Hartselle, passed away on June 21, 2017. Her visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Rev Hansford Smith is officiating.
Mrs. Lovell is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma Watson, brothers, Jimmy, Cecil, and Bill Watson. Sister, Betty McCravy.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gary Lovell, daughter, Scarlet(Jimmy) Bolan, son John(Alison) Lovell, 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Luke Bolan, and Natalie Lovell. One brother, Paul (Buffy) Watson, two sisters, Judy (Tommy) Davis, and Francis Taylor.
She was a member of Decatur Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years. She retired from Decatur City Schools. Family was her life. She always put others first.
