J.R. Little

J.R. Little, 23, of Mt. Hope passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. A time of visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Lawrence County High School Gym. The Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2:00pm at Old Town Creek Church with Ben Phillips, Donna Flanagan and Ricky Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. Roselawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.

J.R. was a member of the Athletics for All team. He loved rodeos and bull riding. J.R. was also very interested in firefighting, police work and off-roading.

J.R. was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Little and uncle, Randy Little.

Survivors include his father, Ronny Little (Melissa); mother, Tammy Rice (Bill); siblings, Trenda Edmond (Marty), Brandy Little, LaQuita Kelley (Anthony), Audrea Billings (Greg), Dewayne Cornelison, Samantha Rice, Haley Hammond, Whitney Hammond and Timothy Hammond; grandparents, Iva "Nean" Little, Tooter Abbott (Teresa) and Patsy Reeves; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends who were considered his family too.
