Funeral for Leona Holtzclaw Hart, 92, of Decatur will be Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hart, who died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, was born April 12, 1919, in Stevenson to Henry and Mary Holtzclaw. She was a Christian. She loved sewing, cooking and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hart; two sons, Charlie Hart and James Jr. Hart; three daughters, Judy Gossett, Marie Wright and Debra Hart; one brother, Henry Holtzclaw; and one sister, Lucille Overall.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Hart and Bobby Hart; three daughters, Edith Braswell, Pat Morris (Donald) and Becky Blackwood (Carl); one brother, Bill Holtzclaw; sister, Eva Bell Beason; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
