Lois Lovelace passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, AL. She was born July 22, 1920 to Daniel and Elizabeth Pace. Mrs. Lovelace was a homemaker. Her passion in life was teaching bible stories to children and teaching Sunday School. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. “Jake” Lovelace, one daughter Emily Beth (Infant), one son, J. Steve Lovelace.
Mrs. Lovelace is survived by her two sons, Mark Lovelace of Decatur and Tim Lovelace (Cyndi) of Decatur; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 at 12:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Lovelace and Dr. Rob Jackson officiating. A Time of visitation will be held Monday from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home with burial at Decatur City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church Library or Nations of Coaches.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
