Funeral for Marjorie Elaine McCorkle, 79, of Decatur will be Monday, November 12, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. McCorkle died Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born February 28, 1933, in Missouri to Doss C. and Flora Mae Waddell McGarity. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, John Austin McCorkle of Trinity and William David McCorkle of Decatur; two daughters, Rebecca Vaughn (Bobby) of Athens and Mona McCorkle Clements of Madison; and three grandchildren, Christina Elaine Vaughn, Zackery David McCorkle and Carlie Anne McCorkle.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
