celebration of life will be Saturday, August 23,2014 at 10:00
AM at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Lykins
officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Roselawn
Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at
Roselawn Cemetery
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and
Nolia Compton; husband of 63 years, Guye Raymond Smith;
brothers, Robert L. Compton and James Leslie Compton
she was a lifelong member of 9th street United Methodist
Church. Mrs. Smith retired from the telephone company after
35 years of service. She started with South Central Bell and
retired from AT&T.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her brother, Bill (Jessie) Compton of
Decatur; sister, Shirley Compton Terry of Decatur; several
nieces and nephews.

Health Association and designate to the Alzheimer's Program,
