Funeral for Virginia K. Terry, 92, of Decatur will be today, December 19, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Heathcock officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Terry, who died Monday, December 17, 2012, was born May 4, 1920, in Tuscaloosa to William Colie Koster and Rosalie Thomas Koster. She was an active member of Central United Methodist Church and the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Terry; and one son, James William Terry.
Survivors include one daughter, Celeste T. Stroup (Ron) of Decatur; one brother, William Thomas Koster of Tuscaloosa; two grandchildren, Justin Todd Stroup (Jessica) and Britney Stroup Green (Jeremy); and two great-grandchildren, Owen Green and Hayden Witt.
Pallbearers will be Todd Stroup, Jeremy Green, Daniel Lane, Donnie Lane, Ron Stroup and John Goldiner.
