Mary Blankenship Crumley, age 89 of Decatur, passed away on June 28, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Main Hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Decatur City Cemetery with Paul Smith officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45 at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Crumley was born May 13, 1926 in Decatur, Al. to A.O. and Katie Blankenship. She was a life-long resident of Decatur and retired after 23 years from Trinity Stone Company. She was devoted to her family, loved to garden and was an avid University of Alabama football fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Captain Paul M. Crumley, U.S.A.F., and sister: Pauline Hugus.
She is survived by her son: John S. Crumley, daughter: Betty Mayer (Rudi), 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Ford, Rudi Mayer, Clyde Bateman and Stan Roberts.
