She was born June 5, 1935 and lived a life devoted to faith and family.
Mary was a long-time employee of Food World, where she worked for more than 30 years. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness and dedication to those around her.
Outside of work she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Morgan and her parents, Solan Grant Brackin and Dewey Lee Brackin.
Siblings, Regis Brackin, Dean Easley, Marcelle Dotson and Shirley Sullins.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey McCoy, daughter Denise Steward, grandson Derick Osborn, great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life in the chapel of the at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
