Meredith Euin Lott

Meredith Euin Lott, age 84, of Decatur, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. He graduated from Austinville High School in 1958, Meredith retired in 1995 after 34 years with Decatur City Fire Department, and taught guitar lessons for many years.

Meredith is survived by his wife, Faye Lott; his daughter Marlene Story (Ricky); his brother Kendall Lott (Brenda); his grandchildren Ashley Vest, Joseph Laymon, Kesha Lott, Taylor Miller, Spencer Lott and Faye's sons Greg, Brent and Jody Scott.

Meredith was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Rose Lott; parents Euin James and Ruth Hendon Lott; his sons David, and Barry Lott.

Visitation for Meredith will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 741 Danville Road SW., Decatur, AL 35601. A celebration of life service will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 741 Danville RD. SW., Decatur, AL 35601 and interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Story, Landon Mize, Nathan Laymon, Kody Vest, Joseph Laymon and Brandon Scott.
