Michael Lee Allen

Graveside services for Michael Lee Allen, 52, of Decatur will be Sunday, September 18, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Brother Cameron Douglas officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Allen passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at his home. He was born September 30, 1958, in Decatur. Lee loved to fish and spend time outdoors. He had a warm heart and a unique sense of humor. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda P. Allen of Decatur. He is survived by many close friends.

Mr. Allen requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Decatur General Foundation for Oncology, 1312 7th Street SE, Decatur, AL 35601, Hospice of the Valley, P.O. Box 2745, Decatur, AL 35602, or a charity of choice.

I am so sadden to read about Lee's death. Linda & Lee used to come in to see me at my office and I loved them both. I will always remember how much he loved his Mom.
