Mildred Virginia Wright

Mildred Virginia Wright, 94, of Decatur, AL, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, at her home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12th at 10:00 am at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her memorial will begin at 11:00 am with Curtis Sampley officiating.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Kim Osborne; son, Kerry Wright (Nancy); granddaughters, Kim Wright and Kristy Drake (Rodney); great-grandson, Harrison Drake, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wright; mother and father, Emma and Earl Jenkins; brothers, Gilbert Jenkins and Jerry Jenkins.

Mildred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed time on her boat, shopping, and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved her cat Sammy and her dog Hershey. She was a friend to everyone and will be missed dearly. Family and friends will remember her by her contagious smile and how she was there for everyone.

Mildred and Harold were members of Beltline Church of Christ for more than 55 years. They loved their church family and appreciated all the support they provided through the years.
