I always called Mrs. Fab my "other mother". I was in her house about as much as I was in mine from elementary school until I went to college. She influenced me in so many ways and always encouraged me - even after I grew up, had a family and a career.

She was one of my mother's best friends and remained so until my mother died in 2016. I know they are now reunited in Heaven and praising our Lord. We can only be sad for ourselves because they have now seen Jesus.

Nancy Fabisinski was a beautiful soul who loved life and learning.
She was a dedicated member of the Stephens Chapter National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a current dues paying member upon her death.
Nancy was loved by all the members. She was caring and interested in others and willing to do the job that was appointed for her to do.
May her gracious spirit be appreciated by her family. May they be given peace knowing she was loved by all.
She will be missed by her Stephens Chapter members of the NSDAR.

Nan, the entire Johnson family sends our condolences. Your mother sent my boys their first Bibles when they were born and she will always hold a special place in my heart. She was a gracious lady in all she pursued and I will never be able to eat a cheese straw and not think of her! Love you guys and am praying for comfort and peace in your heart, Karen

"Nancy Fab," as she was known as my colleague before our retirement from Calhoun, was a dear, sweet lady who always had a smile and a kind word. She went along on a long, tiring, student trip all the way up to Boston and back in 1998 and kept up with the youngsters. She was a real trouper. I will always remember Nancy with great fondess.

Mrs Fab was the soul of graciousness. Such a kind lady, whose welcoming demeanor meant so much to me-especially during my high school years. She was also smart with a quick wit-though never at anyone else’s expense. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and community.

It was my good fortune to be friends with Nancy for many years both at Calhoun College and afterwards in retirement. She was one of the smartest, funniest, faithfilled and most gracious people I have ever known. I am a better person for having her in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I remember she wanted to go see her friend. We went to see her and she passed away the next week after we went to see her. Nancy was a very sweet person. I’m so glad I was her caregiver till my family need me. She up in heaven having a big reunion with her long life best friend Dot and her husband and friends and my mom. I know they all welcomed her at the pearly gates. She will be missed dearly. Here for y’all. Love y’all
