Nancy Sharon Thrasher, age 80, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2025. She was born April 19, 1945, and spent many years serving her community through her work with Community Action. Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy, three sisters, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Leslie, grandson Saxon, and son-in-law Jeff. Sharon loved her family deeply, enjoyed trips to Tunica and Vegas, and was a devoted football fan. Her faith in God and old-school values guided her life. Per her wishes, there will be no service at this time. The family asks that you take a moment to remember Sharon in your own way.
