Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:00PM. The final resting place is Midway Memorial Gardens.
Samuel is preceded by his parents, William Henry and Bessie Putman Mason, daughter, Lesley Kay Mason and two brothers, Dewey Wayne Mason and Billy Joe Mason.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Jones Mason. They were married just 4 days shy of 54 years. His daughter, Tracie Lynn Mason; granddaughter, Brelin (Bill) Tungate; great grandson, Rory Tungate; great niece, Shea (Taylor) Mason and two brothers, William David Mason and Mark Anthony Mason.
Samuel was raised in Morgan County, AL. He proudly served in the United States Army. Samuel retired from the building materials industry in 2017.
