A graveside service honoring Samuel's life will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery.
Samuel was a 1968 graduate of Decatur High School and proudly served his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War. Throughout his working years, he was employed with Wolverine Tube and the City of Decatur Parks and Recreation Department,where he retired.
Samuel is survived by his sister, Rhonda Bradford; his brother, James C. McGee; and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Dale McGee; parents, Warren Benton McGee and Leevella McGee.
