Sherry McCaghren Russell, 67, of Madison, passed away at Decatur Morgan Hospital December 16, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Graveside Funeral Service following the visitation. Entombment will be in Roselawn Mausoleum.
She was retired and an avid reader, loved animals and an Auburn fan. She was born August 26, 1947 in Lawrence County, AL., to Kyle A. “Tick” and Audrey McCaghren.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her Father: Kyle A. “Tick” McCaghren.
Mrs. Russell is survived by her husband: Roy G. Russell of Madison, AL., and friends: Ronny Russell (Tonya) and Reggie Russell (Mindi) both of Decatur, mother: Audrey McCaghren, sister: Patsy McCaghren of Decatur and beloved pet: Kasper.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Russell, Reggie Russell, Steve Smith, Ronald Terry, Carl Smith and Wyn Dobbs.
