Funeral services for Susie Mae Hudson will be Monday, October 14, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Culver and Patrick Cooley officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. There will also be a graveside service and burial Monday, October 14th, at 3 p.m. at Furnacehill Cemetery in Vernon Alabama.
Mrs. Hudson died October 10, 2013 at NHC Health Care Moulton, Al. was preceded in death by her parents, David Sampson Lemons and Aquilla Maddox Lemons; husband, Gene Porter Hudson; two brothers, David Lemons and Phelix Earl Lemons; two sisters, Louise Coe and Martha Griffin. Mrs. Hudson was a home-maker and a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Vernon.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by her daughter, Linda Collins (Gary) of Trinity; brothers, Jerry Lemons and Charles Lemons; sisters, Sarah Fox, Audrey Ary, and Faye Dunn; grandchildren; Chet Collins (Kim) of Raleigh, NC, Kirk Collins (Tara), Brent Collins (Ashley), Brooks Collins (Sherrie) all of Decatur; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons and Everette Fox.
