Funeral service for Theodore Raymond Hamilton, 83, of Decatur will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m. at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Ray Remke officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hamilton, who passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital, was born February 20, 1928, in Guilford, Ind., to Raymond and Mary Hamilton. He retired from Union Camp Paper Corp., was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Burningtree Country Club. He was a graduate of Aurora Indiana High School and Purdue University. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia; and one son, Andrew.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Hamilton; two daughters, Karen Jameson (Marv) of Kalamazoo Mich., and Diane Hamilton of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sons, Paul Hamilton (Carol) of Cary N.C., Christopher Hamilton (Carol) of Raleigh N.C., and Matthew Hamilton of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Jay, Andrew, Peter and Philip; and three great-grandchildren, Johnny, Alex and Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Annunciation Building Fund or Meals on Wheels.
