Tyler Whitt

Tyler Wayne Whitt passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at age 26. Tyler began his service to the community at Mud Tavern Fire Department then went to the Morgan County Rescue Squad where he has served as acting Captain for more than 5 years. He loved to fish and to hang out with his friends. Tyler was employed by Jemison Steel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Payton and his grandparents, Wendell and Nell Whitt.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Stacy (Daryl) Payne and his father, Mickey (Pam) Whitt; grandmother, Janice Payton and grandparents, Roger and JoAnn Payne; sisters, Ashley Whitt, Payton Payne and Alisa Payne; brothers, Jason (Ashley) Whitt and Brandon Adams and uncle, Rickey Whitt.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with J.T. Cofer and Pastor Malcolm Carter, II officiating.. A time of gathering with the family will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morgan County Rescue Squad.
