Graveside Service for Wendell Ray Shankle, 83, of Decatur will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Caddo Cemetery at 1:30 pm with Pastor Doug Moody officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home Directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00am until 12:30 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.
He retired from General Motors after 28 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents Barney K. and Lula Mae Shankle and one son, Roger Shankle. four brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his six children, Tony Shankle, Belinda(Gary) Keefer, and Jerry(Yvette) Shankle, Janice Cooper, Justin(Regina) Shankle, Rachel(Jamie) McCollum, twenty-nine grandchildren, four brothers and sisters.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
