He is survived by his wife Tina, his two sons Jessie and Michael, their wives Kelly and Amanda and daughter Tabitha Hill. His grandkids Trayla, Justin, Dalton, Hayden, Kayleigh and many more. Finally, his trusty fury companions Crimson and Big Al.
He was born November 26th, 1951 and won his last argument on January 25th, 2023. He was a massive Alabama football fan, loved playing computer games, relished beating his son Michael in a game of “Bones” and drinking a cold glass of Jack and Coke while yelling “Roll Tide”.
His supposed last level of education was the 12th grade, but we all know that is incorrect, because he knew everything! If you didn’t believe he knew it all, all you had to do was ask him and he would tell you.
To be fair, he did teach his kids and grandkids how to work hard, never give up, be kind, empathetic, a good husband, good father and above all, how to argue.
God that man loved to argue. If arguing was a martial art, he was a Shaolin Monk.
His professional career has always been of hard work, ethics and leadership. He joined the Army in 1978 and served honorably until 1993 when he retired. He later joined Walmart and served in several management roles over his 15 years with the company. Anyone that has worked with him will attest to his work ethic, leadership skills, and willingness to do anything that the job required. He is to this day the hardest worker I have ever met.
But his most prestigious job was being a superhero to his kids and grandkids. He Loved them more than anything in this world. While sometimes his love was hard, there was never any doubt he loved you.
It is still incomprehensible that he is gone, as we all truly thought he was too stubborn to die. But it must be true, as the world is a little less bright tonight and there is a hole in many hearts that will never be filled.
So Dad please take off your cape, its time for you to rest. We love you more than words can ever express. More than anything, we hope we have made you proud of us and that we are half the man you were.
I look forward to another argument when we meet again.
