A dear cousin and old friend. Im so sad that we lost so many busy years. Always too late when we realize that we so should have kept in touch. Life just gets away from us so quickly. Rest in peace

Joe, one of the cutest, sweetest guys my brother, Charles & I met when we moved to Livingston. We lived in Mrs. Ella Nixon’s home on the highway not too far from Honey, Martha, Joe & Puddin so it was the not long before we all met & started enjoying the farm land, lakes, & creeks close by.

My oldest son, Crego & I went fishing on a group trip out from Orange Beach not so many years ago & as we were getting set up to fish I noticed I knew one of the men. We both recognized each other & started talking about ole times. So much fun to erase years & remember jumping off of the boat into the lakes & skiing on the river.

I am certain that Joe is where we are all planning & hoping to be one day & his mother & daddy have hugged & hugged their precious son.

This world is missing one swell & loving gentleman that I was lucky to know. Thank you Lord for that honor.

I had such a crush on him when I was a little girl. He used to try to drown me every summer at the swimming pool(just horseplay). Joe always had a smile on his face. Just a great guy. Prayers for comfort for his family. I know he will be missed.

Joe was an outstanding varsity athlete at Livingston High School, Livingston, AL where I was a student. Joe had this different sense of humor. Joe was handsome, and a lot of the girls wished for a date with him. We had not spoken in years; yet, Joe will be missed by many..❤
