Amelia enjoyed a wonderful life which started when her parents came over from Italy, met Domenico, fell in love and they started their journey together.
Together they raised 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.During her 90 years she enjoyed life to the fullest, but most of all loved her family. She loved to go shopping with her two daughters; Catherine one who enjoyed it and Rosemarie who asked when they could leave.
When it came to fixing something at the house her son Joseph was always there for her. When it came to asking for advice her son Michael was always available, however often she decided to take it was another story.
Although not wealthy in monetary terms, Amelia and Domenico always made sure that they spent quality time with their children teaching them important values, either on a cross country trip or visiting relatives and friends.
Her children grew up knowing every sunday was family day. Which could include going to church, visiting grandparents or spending time with other family members. Amelia had a unique way of making each son in law, daughter in law, or anybody who entererd the family, and there were many, feel as though they had always belonged.
Amelia lived for her family, she looked forward to their visits and hosting family holidays. She set a wonderful example for her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her how to enjoy life just as she did.
We can rest assured knowing she's with the ones she loved, especially Domenico, whom she was always quoted as saying " I met the love of my life and I don't need to meet anybody else".
