Anne was born on October 20, 1939 to Patrick and Sarah Moran in County Mayo, Ireland. As a young woman, she left her family farm and moved to Boston where she met her husband, William (Bill) Mahoney. Together, they moved to Long Island, NY and raised their five children in Deer Park. She is preceded in death by her parents and older sister, Phyllis Driscoll, and her husband Bill.
She is survived by their children Mary (Mike), Liam (Autumn), Sean (Valerie) Columb, Sarah, ten grandchildren and many other loved ones, including her brother John Moran and his family. Anne did many brave and wonderful things in her life but her greatest accomplishment was being a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother.
She enjoyed going to church, camping and traveling with family, taking walks, and many many cups of tea.
She will be forever missed and forever a part of her family's heart.
