To the Gulino Family ,

I am sorry I could not have been with you in person during this difficult time. I am thinking of you and my heart and prayers are with you. Although, I never met your father, I know he was a wonderful person. He raised a wonderful, caring, very giving son. Let me know if you need anything.

 I have a lot of fond memories with Anthony Gulino.
 We were in a band together for a while, and hanging out in the back of his van with his girlfriend at the time 
Nina Zummo.
We connected here on Facebook and talked about seeing each other at the 2013 reunion.

Dayna, Anthony and the Gulino family, Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as you morn your loss of Tony. Memories from high school and all the fun times at roller Hockey and at Woods Road school and the days at Cedar Beach with all the Kids when they were little , bring back  fond memories especially all the laughs.  I only spoke to Tony online in Dec. 3. He was so happy to be going to visit Anthony in NJ and told me how proud he was of Both of his kids and how they will have very successful futures with the careers they had chosen. Dear Mr and Mrs Gulino,
   I am sorry to hear about the loss of you son Anthony, my prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Anthony was a great friend to me; he was my best friend while growing up together in North Babylon. Living right across the street from you for many years, we spent much time together as friends. We had a lot of great time's together, playing stickball at Woods Road, hanging out at Belmont State Park, surfing at Gilgo beachand and traveling together. He came to visit me while i lived in Miami, FL back in late 1970's. We traveled together to the Bahamas, did some surfing there, and sailing too.  I remember going to see him while he was staying with me, he had a job working as parking attendant on Miami Beach. We were young kids just trying to get whatever job to support ourselves.  A few years later I moved to New Hampshire, and he came to visit me while I worked at a ski resort. I gave him some free rooms in the resort, wasn't supposed to, later on I did get fired for that, but never held it against him. Whenever I came back to visit my  hometown in North Babylon I would always stopped in to see him. He was a great friend, and we tried to stay in touch over the years, but there were times when we hadn't kept in touch as much as we should have, there were at times when we didn't hear from each other for many years, and that is what I regret. We always share great memories together.  Just recently we spoke online right after Hurricane Sandy hit New York, and I asked him if everything was alright there, and jokingly ask if he was able to catch waves over at Fire Island. Over the past year or so I kept asking him to come and visit me in South America, and he said he would love to, but at the moment he said he was trying to save some money, and that would try and come soon. It was shocked to hear the sad news; I will truly miss him, Good bye Ant!!!

Although we are miles away, our hearts are breaking for the loss of Anthony. May Jesus, his Blessed Mother and our Lord fill you with calm,  knowing Anthony did not suffer. We pray that the family keep strong and find much comfort to know he is with our Lord in heaven. Pray that God have mercy on his soul and that all who have touched his life be filled with peace.
