Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part.

Bernadette and I were neighborhood friends in grade school. I lived in the apartments near Bernadette and we would just climb over a couple backyard fences to get to each other's house. I fondly remember playing together - always outdoors for hours on end with the other neighborhood kids. My deepest sympathy goes out to Bernadette's family and friends.

Such wonderful memories of Bernie. She had the most infectious laugh of anyone I have ever met. Always smiling, always laughing. My high school years were so memorable in large part due to our close friendship. Me, bern, Joan, Mary and Virginia......inseparable thru our high school years and into college too. So many good, fun times that could fill a book. I will miss her and think of my friend often. ❤❤

We lived next door to the Greens. Bernadette and I were in the same grade. The houses were so close together, that we could play telephone with two orange juice cans and a long string to connect them. We talked to each other on that "telephone " from our upstairs bedroom windows. Just one of many silly things we did as kids. She will be missed! My deepest condolences to her dear family.
