Carol Coakley returned to her heavenly home on February 15, 2016, at the age of 79. Her passing was preceded by her late husband Vincent and son Steven, who was a fireman lost on 9/11. She is survived by her daughter Kara Walker, son-in-law Edmund, grandchildren Tiffany, Brandi, Courtney and Stephanie; brother Michael and his wife Patricia. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life. In lieu of flowers her wishes were donations may be made in her name to the FF Steven Coakley Foundation, an organization established to never forget 9/11 at ffstevencoakley.org.
